Kure National College of Technology

A college of technology (kosen) is an institution of higher education that accepts graduates from junior high schools and provides them with unified education programs over five years of regular courses and two years of special courses to develop the "creative and practical engineers" needed by society. Kure National College of Technology has four regular courses, namely, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Architecture and Structural Engineering. It has two special courses, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Architecture and Civil Engineering. In addition to government-financed or sponsored foreign students and foreign government dispatch students, Kure National College of Technology accepts foreign students through the National College of Technology Third Year Admission Examination System that is aimed at foreign students, and implemented by the Institute of National Colleges of Technology. The student dormitory is fully equipped with the dedicated eating rooms and shower rooms necessary for the day-to-day lives of the foreign students.
