Yasuda Women's University

Yasuda Women's University was founded as Yasuda Educational Foundation (Hiroshima Practical Girls' School) in 1915, and celebrated its 100-year founding anniversary in 2015. The Yasuda Women's University Faculty of Letters was established in 1966, and more recently in 2012 the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Psychology were established. 2013 saw the establishment of two graduate schools, the Graduate School of Home Economics and the Graduate School of Medicine. In 2014, the school established the Faculty of Nursing, making this a comprehensive university with three graduate schools, seven faculties, and one junior college (the Faculty of Letters, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Current Business, Faculty of Home Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, and a Junior College).
