International students who study in Hiroshima work as a Hiroshima Study Abroad Ambassador (HSAA).

They share information about attractions and student life in Hiroshima to the rest of the world through social media.

We recruit new members for 2021✨✨

Would you join us and share your experience about studying and living in Hiroshima?

Goals of Hiroshima study abroad ambassador（HSAA）

・Learn about and experience Hiroshima, and through rediscovering the appeals of Hiroshima, share the benefits of studying abroad here through SNS.

・Take action so that international students can learn more about Hiroshima Prefecture, and from your perspective as an international student, make suggestions regarding the problems surrounding studying abroad.

＊Activities＊

・Write articles on the attractions of Hiroshima, as well as information on what it’s like living in Hiroshima/student life, and share it on SNS etc.

・Participate in the exchange events of the HIC/outside sponsoring organizations, and provide other support such as planning, management etc. 

＊Application period＊

 7th May (FRI)～ 1st June (TUE)

＊Number accepted＊

There is no limit, but those who meet the following requrements will be assigned as a HSAA in September. 

＊Recruitment information＊

・International students who belong to a university, junior or technical college, or Japanese language school in Hiroshima Prefecture.

・Be able to communicate in simple Japanese or be currently studying Japanese.

・Acts with self-awareness and responsibility as a HSAA, and has the will to independently post about the appeals of Hiroshima.

・Be able to communicate and engage in exchange with people from other countries, regions and schools, as well as locals from Hiroshima Prefecture.

・Have your own social media account and post articles regularly. Also possible if you do not yet have a social media account, but make one for this purpose.

・Have interest in the HIC’s activities, be able to participate in them, as well as to spread information on these activities to other students.

・Act as a member of HSAA for at least 1 year (until 31th March 2022).

＊Annual Schedule (As of now)＊

At the HSAA events, we are scheduled to join a tour of industrial facilities, learn about peace, etc.

All applicants will get a notification email by 8th June, 2021.
